Erin — Making the World a Better Place

Erin has three terrific passions: people, dogs and the environment.  How does she help people? Let me count the ways!

Erin volunteers at school events, with Care and Share, and is the social media representative for the Colorado Springs chapter of “March for our Lives,” a nation-wide student led organization whose mission is to “harness the power of young people across the country to fight for sensible gun violence prevention policies that save lives.”1230Erin4x5CMP2

She has also been offered two part time jobs that started as volunteer positions. Erin began as a volunteer for the “Falfins” swim team, teaching swim lessons to beginner level kids until they are skilled enough to join the swim club as year-round swimmers. After just one year of volunteering in this role, Erin was asked to join as a part-time employee and has worked for them for two years.

In another volunteer position, at the Colorado Springs Therapy Center, after just two months of volunteer work, she was asked to become an employee. Here, Erin helps children and young adults as an assistant during their Aquatic Speech Sessions.

As a senior at Rampart, Erin is in the International Baccalaureate program and National Honor Society. After graduation she plans to go to college to study speech and language pathology.

Cute gal and really like the pose with her fall sweater on. It continues to amaze me how many activities these seniors are in and also how connected they are to people and causes. Gives me hope for the future.

Love these bios that tell about your subjects! What a great added service and helps us not only get to know them, but see how you’ve captured them in image.
