Madeline Rose — Beautiful As Her Namesake

Madeline Rose, named after her mom’s favorite flower, has a soft spot for the less fortunate, and can be found giving both money and food to the homeless.

Family is also a priority, and her family frequently engages in what they call “Joke Wars”. This involves getting ideas from sources like You Tube, etc. and then carrying out the harmless pranks (i.e. painting someone’s toenails while they sleep) on unsuspecting family members. The result is a lot of family bonding.

Madeline loves to be both in action and at rest. Her favorite resting activity is reading, but when it comes to moving her body, she prefers to be in nature and hike with her family. Their favorite places to hike include Red Rock Canyon and Rocky Mountain National Park, and her favorite season is fall.

MadelineCMPblog2At her high school, Pueblo South, Madeline is a member of National Honor Society. And aligning with her love of the natural world, she is also in an AP Environmental Science class and Environmental Club, where she provides community service with the hope of saving the planet.

Madeline currently has a job at Dairy Queen and hopes to take a road trip after graduation with her friends to major US cities. Next fall she intends to start college, locally first, at Pikes Peak Community College to get her general credits out of the way, and then transfer to UCLA or UNLV in her quest to be either a Veterinarian or Pediatrician.
